Cascadia Subduction Zone Megaquake?
The ocean floor is sinking below the continental plate offshore of Washington and Oregon. There is a very long sloping fault that separates the Juan de Fuca and North American Plates. The Cascadia Subduction Zone can produce very large megathrust earthquakes (9.0M). A strong correlation has been seen throughout history between earthquakes on the Cascadia fault line and the San Andreas fault line. There has been increased magnitude seismic activity off the coasts of Oregon and Washington with earthquakes registering up to 4.6 magnitude. The Navy has recently increased presence in the area for "weapons testing" and "war games." Their use of sonar weapons has already led to a rash of horrific orca killings, their mutilated and battered carcases washing up on the shores of Vancouver Island. In their Open House session with concerned coastal residents, it was mentioned that the Navy would also be testing electromagnetic weaponry. This is issue of concern since DARPA controls the HAARP array in Alaska and strange equipment has been seen transported to the Seattle area. I have not always been correct but I am keeping the Pacific NW on my immediate megaquake radar. Though there has not yet been an earthquake in the area, the National Data Buoy Center of NOAA has a buoy triggered in tsunami event mode, the only one in the entire world that is currently activated. It is located 300 NM WNW of Seattle, WA. I would advise against travel to the Pacific NW at this juncture.
